Graduate of the Film/TV Directing Department at the Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Lodz (1993) and of the Mathematics and Physics Department at the Opole University (1985).
In 1986-88 he worked as an assistant director on the production of a feature film.
Since 1992 he has worked independently, mainly for public TV. He is an author and co-author of documentaries and films devoted to art.
In 1995 he produced a short film “Kotek” (“The Kitten”), the Polish episode of OPEN THE DOOR, a series commissioned by BBC. In 1998 he co-directed a series “Europa na co dzień” (“Everyday Europe”) commissioned by PHARE.
Since 1997 he has collaborated with CANAL+ and the CYFRA+ platform.
