He has directed numerous documentaries, including a series of filmmaker portraits titled Un Certain Regard du Sud, which features, among others, profiles of Mediterranean filmmakers such as Elia Suleiman, Mohamed Malas, Mohamed Chouikh, Avi Mograbi, Yasmine Kassari, Nouri Bouzid, Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige, as well as portraits of Jacques Demy, Amos Gitai, Paul Carpita, and others.
He is the founder of the production company Les Films du Tourbillon.
