Michaela Pňačeková is an award-winning XR artist, producer and PhD student at York University, Toronto. Her focus lies in the ways new media impact the real through interaction with AI. Her VR piece Symphony of Noise was exhibited at VRHam, Reeperbahn Music Festival, IDFA 2019, Geneva IFF 2020 and more. It received the FIVARS Award and Forbes Magazine listed it among the best XR installations of 2019. She co-created the interactive app Pre-Crime Calculator and produced three feature documentaries (Border Cut, Waterproof, Scars). Co-producer of the VR Chomsky vs. Chomsky (Sundance Film Festival 2020). Member of EWA, DAE, the board of directors of Femme Futures Grant at Kaleidoscope. Recipient of Marseille Web Fest Award 2019, EWA Award 2017, Special Mention at the Bosch Stiftung Prize 2014
