Camille Holtz and Pierre Tremerel are a couple of French filmmakers living and working in Marseille, France.
Camille studied photography and video at the school of Decorative Arts in Paris. Pierre studied film studies at the University of Liège (Belgium). They met in the Documentary Film School of Lussas (France) in 2015. Camille has a visual approach and focuses on taking pictures. Her role is to determine the film’s patterns and draw its aesthetic from the faces, colors and landscapes that lay in front of her eyes. Pierre works more like an anthropologist. He learns about the history of the place and collects people’s stories. His task is to unravel the narrative of the film.
