Agnese Kušnere, born in Valmiera, Latvia, studied fine arts, time-based media and film at the Universities of fine arts in Braunschweig, Hamburg and the LUCA School of Art in Brussels. In her documentary and theoretical work, she deals with the transformation processes of post-soviet spaces. She writes for and about contemporary artists and works as a translator for the languages German, Latvian and Russian.
