Anna Stoeva had been development producer for AGITPROP, top Bulgarian creative documentary production company, for three years up to January 2011. In 2009 she started of her career as producer winning Best International Proposal Prize at BaKa Forum for Lost Faces ñ the project to become the first two films produced as HBO Bulgaria original programming Concrete Pharaohs and Paradise Hotel, selected and awarded at festivals worldwide. High profile international co-productions she worked on include The Last Black Sea Pirates, Dad Made Dirty Movies (premiere at Visions du Reel, toured leading festivals) and Balkan Melody. Anna was key fundraiser and operations manager responsible for the launch of the Balkan Documentary Center, and is currently fundraiser and strategic advisor of IN THE PALACE International Short Film Festival. In the summer of 2011, after a 4-months distribution internship at Magnolia Pictures, she co-founded tanuki films together with David Djambazov.
