Edward Longmire has been based in Prague, Czech Republic, since graduating from FAMU, the Czech National Film School. Originally from London in England, he worked in the City before moving to Eastern Europe in 2001. Edward has moved between still photography and video documentary over the last decade. Whilst initial documentary subject material tied in with still photography, more recently he has chosen different subject areas for each medium. His latest project, “Ich Bin Creative”, utilises formats he has used in previous projects, but builds out in a different direction, examining an environment as a whole, and not necessarily only the state of the minds of the individuals living there.
