Armin Thalhammer was born in 1988 in a small village in lower Bavaria, Germany. He was running through the neighborhood with his fathers camera even before he learned writing and reading. As he became older he found his love for traveling the world and hearing the stories of people from different cultures. Starting with hitchhiking through Europe he soon found himself traveling up to 20 countries a year. He earns the money for this trips with selling his photographs. In 2008 he started studying media design at the HDUDeggendorf, spending one semester abroad in Melbourne and continuing with a Master Degree in Film at the University for Applied Sciences Salzburg. „Cerro Rico – The Silver Mountain“ is Armin's debut movie.
