Ann Carolin studied cultural science, philosophy and journalism at the University of Leipzig, Strasbourg and Paris. 2006 - 2008 she was head of DOK Industry for the DOK Leipzig Filmfestival, in charge of the International Coproduction Meetings and the annual ilm-market.
Since 2008 she works as producer for zero one film (CEO Thomas Kufus), Berlin, where she is responsible for the development and production of TV and cinema documentaries. In 2010 she started her own company joon film, which she runs alongside her work at zero one film, and where she focuses on artistic and experimental films. Graduate of EAVE 2013 and Eurodoc 2009. In 2013 she was jury-member of Berlin artist scholarship (film/video) by Berliner Senat.
