Over the last decade I have gained experience from working in diverse settings, companies and organizations in four different countries, Germany, Egypt, Russia and Poland. Through this, I had access to different working realities and practices, ranging from being a freelance correspondent in the MENA region over producing reports for German TV channel ZDF in Warsaw to directing my own featrue length films in different parts of the world for broadcasters like ARD or Arte. Since 2022 I have been working as a commissioning editor for DW's documentary department.
