Working as an editor of both television and feature film in the UK and the Czech Republic, David counts among his recent credits TV documentaries Beslan (for Discovery) and Compulsion (Mentorn/BBC), the cold case crime serial Rose and Maloney, and feature films My Summer of Love and Last Resort (d. Pawel Pawlikowski) and Kiss of Life (d. Emily Young). He won the Czech Lion Award for Best Editing in 2003, for the film Rok Dábla (Year of the Devil).
