Studied journalism at Belarusian State University and film history and theory at Belarusian State Academy of Arts. Worked as a film critic and journalist for a range of Belarusian and Russian media. One of the founders of and current contributor to Cinemascope, a Minsk-based project dedicated to the exhibition and promotion of world cinema classics, art and experimental film works. An artistic director of the Raketa arthouse cinema in Minsk since 2012.
