In 2004 graduated from the Karpenko-Kary Kiev National University of Film and TV. Later she worked at the experimental theatre and on TV. Cooperated with the director Ilya Khrzhanovsky, trained under Valdis Oskarsdottìr, the editor of Thomas Vinterberg’s movie “The Celebration” and some other Dogma films. This experience was important for her to start making her own films.
