Michał Englert and Małgorzata Szumowska are a directing duo who have collaborated continuously since their studies at the Łódź Film School. From the beginning, their projects have been joint undertakings: Englert and Szumowska co-write, co-direct, and co-produce their films. Englert is also one of Poland’s most recognized cinematographers in the world. Their collaboration as co-directors officially began with Never Gonna Snow Again (2020).
