Director, writer and producer and mentor. He graduated from the School of Philosophy of the Charles University in Prague and from FAMU. He has curated film programs in 90ies (in Prague’s Roxy, Archa Theater and historical retrospectives at IFF Karlovy Vary). At FAMU co-found and first years lead FAMU Center for Audiovisual Studies, one term he worked as the Head of FAMU International. In 2012 found and has led till today FAMU Summer Filmmaking Campus. Since 2005 has lead educational project in Myanmar and continues in his activities in the region. Since 2014 produces films within Prague based D1film and since 2019 also Bratislava based VIRUSfilm production, since 2023, he has been co-running Prague's Atlas Cinema.
