Margit Lillak is a documentary director and creative producer. She started in the field of documentary in 2009. She has an MA in Screenwriting from Royal Holloway, UK. In 2022 she founded Tiny Desk Productions, making her third feature, “Becoming Roosi”, in collaboration with Dirk Manthey Films and SWR/ARTE. The project has been enrolled in Esodoc and ExOriente, winning the Vision du Réel 2022 pitching prize. The film premiered in 2025 at Thessaloniki IDF. Her previous work includes several shorts and two feature documentaries: “The Circle” (winner of the Estonian Cultural Endowment’s Best Documentary Prize).
