Svitlana Lishchynska (born 1970, Mariupol) a Ukrainian film director. Svitlana has worked for more than 25 years for the leading Ukrainian TV channels. She directed numerous successful projects. Since 2017, Svitlana has been engaged in film production. Her first film work was two short novels for the documentary almanac "The Invisible Battalion". Since then she has directed several documentaries and written two full-length feature scripts. During the period of the Russian invasion, Svitlana is filming a documentary "A Bit of a Stranger" about her family from Mariupol. This project got Saxon Award for the Best Documentary Project by a Female Director at DOK Leipzig.
