Sofía Brockenshire (Argentina/Canada) studied Cinema in Argentina (Universidad del Cine), and received her MFA in Film and Video at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, USA.
She was selected at the Berlinale Talent Campus (2013) and participated in the Documentary Project of the University of Tella (2014). Her work has been selected and awarded at various international film festivals and cultural institutions around the world, including the Venice Film Festival, BAFICI, Arché at Doclisboa, and DOK Leipzig, among others. She currently teaches at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema at Concordia University in Montréal, Canada.
