Ondřej Lukeš (b. 1991) is a Czech film producer and founder of the production company Beginner’s Mind. His producing debut Brutal Heat (dir. Albert Hospodářský, nutprodukce) premiered at Karlovy Vary IFF 2023, where it received a Special Jury Mention in the Proxima section, and later won Best Czech Feature at Finále Plzeň. Beginner’s Mind’s first two films premiered in 2025: Urban Disobedience Toolkit (dir. Vladimír Turner) at One World Festival and The Other Side of Summer (dir. Vojtěch Strakatý) at Karlovy Vary IFF in the Proxima competition. He is currently finishing another fiction feature and developing several fiction and documentary projects. Lukeš is part of the EAVE Producers Network (2026) and actively engages in social and environmental sustainability in the audiovisual sector.
