Leonid Kanter (July 27, 1981) is a Ukrainian film director, producer, traveler and writer. He was born and raised in Kyiv
In 2002 and 2005 graduated from Karpenko-Karyi Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and TV Specialty: TV& film –director.
His famous art-projects:
- an expedition, a game “With a stool to the ocean”. The purpose was to bring four Ukrainian stools to four shores of the oceans. He had made documentaries and a book about those expeditions.
- art-village Obyrok It is an open creative space in one of the abandoned Ukrainian village where he gathers people from all over the world,
creates festivals, workshops and art-schools, traditional celebrations.
