Liene Linde (1986) is a Latvian film director, film critic and educator. Her short films have been screened and awarded internationally, and she has received the Latvian National Film Award "Lielais Kristaps" for the best student film twice. She is currently teaching at the National Film School of the Latvian Academy of Culture and working on her first fiction feature "The Golden Spot". "Mothers and Others" is her debut feature.
