Declan McGrath’s recent feature documentary Young Plato, was nominated for the BIFA and IDA awards having won prizes at the Thessalonika, Dublin and Warsaw festivals, as well as the best feature documentary award in the Irish Academy Awards (IFTA).
Declan has written two books on the craft of filmmaking, each translated into five languages. He also contributes to the New York journal, Cineaste.
