Marguerite is a filmmaker born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. After enrolling in a digital filmmaking camp in New York she was set on film as a path to her career. During her semester abroad in Paris, Marguerite took time to intern in Cinando and directed a short film. She then received her B.A with highest honors from the American University in Cairo in Film and Integrated Marketing Communications. After graduating, Marguerite worked in several fields of the film industry from production to education working as a Teaching Assistant in AUC as well as an AD in short films. She also worked in local festivals such as Panorama of European Film, Cairo Cinema Days and El Gouna Film Festival where she was an organizer as well as the Eventival link. Currently, she is doing her M.A in Montage in FAMU.
