Daniel Fridell is one of Sweden's most succesfull directors and writers. He was trained at European Film Academy in Berlin and Judith Weston Academy in LA. After that he worked on "Speed 2" and "Twister" as a student to Jan de Bont. But before that, he started off with the box office hit "The Searchers" in '93 and has since directed 7 features, many of them has been rewarded and distributed internationally. His last directed and produced movie "Say that you love me" won the Swedish Oscars (Guldbagge) for best Actress in a Leading role in '06 as well great reviews in Sweden, Denmark and Finland. His last co-production, the japanese horror "Apartment 1303" by author Kei Oishi (The Grudge, Lady Vengence) had its premiere screening Berlin IFF 2007. He is now directing "Cubaton - The children of Buena Vista"
