Marta Nováková is a Czech film director, screenwriter and specialist in Russian studies. She directed the feature films Marta (2006) and 8 Heads of Madness (2017), as well as the documentary miniseries Czechoslovaks in the Gulag (2017). She currently serves as the chair of ARAS – Association of Directors, Screenwriters and Dramaturgs.
