Ioana Ciobanu studied Film editing and Sound at the National University of Theater and Film "I.L.Caragiale" between 2012 and 2015. In 2017, she graduated with her Master's Degree at the same university. Her graduation film God, The Mother directed by Mihai Ghiță was selected at Transilvania International Film Festival and Sarajevo International Film Festival. She took part in film residencies and film festivals. She continues to develop her video editor portfolio at Saga Film where she works on diverse projects which include commercials, fiction films, and documentaries.
