Martin Tokár studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, at the department of documentary directing. His student film "Vojčice dream" won a special jury award at the festival in Koprivice, Czech republic. He worked as a director of photography on the Czech Television series, Český žurnál, specifically on the film of Filip Remunda - "Near Far East". "Yours sincerely, Social System" is his documentary mid-lenght debut.
