Klemens is a Vienna based cinematographer who shot numerous shorts, documentaries and music videos during his cinematography studies at the Vienna Film Academy. He was granted a scholarship for the 2012 Budapest Cinematography Masterclass led by Vilmos Zsigmond. Among the credits during this time are the short TALLERES CLANDESTINOS which was nominated for the European Film Prize and the documentary MY FATHERS, MY MOTHER AND ME which won the Grierson Award at the 2013 London Film Festival.
His feature debut MACONDO premiered at the Competition of the 2014 Berlinale where the documentary AND THERE WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE also had it´s premiere at the Forum.
