Scriptwriter, director, director of photography. Awarded at the Dziga Vertov Student Film Festival in 1991, White Nights Film Festival 1997, Saint Anna Intl. Student Film Festival 1994, 1997, 1999 in Moscow. In 1997-1998 worked as a director of photography for the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGRK). In June 1999 Anastasia Cherkassova completed the Co-production Course at Baltic Media Centre. In August 1999 she completed the documentary film producer's courses "East Meets West" and "Docs without Frontiers" in Ebeltoft (Denmark). Since 2000, has worked as a director of photography and scriptwriter for the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting channel "Culture". In 2005 the cycle of programs "The Small Museums of St. Petersburg", "St. Petersburg: The Time and the Place" received the state prize. In November 2006 she has completed her first documentary film "With Much Love and Kisses…".
