In the early eighties of the 20th century ( 1982-1984) he worked as an assistant in the Barrandov film studios. Subsequently, he enrolled at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague ( FAMU ) , where from 1984-1989 he studied production and continued between 1990 and 1995, studying art history at Prague's Charles University . He teaches at the Faculty of Arts and Architecture at the Technical University in Liberec
