Simon started out at the end of the 90‘s as a film critic and worked for major Czech magazines and newspapers focusing on film and music. He directed the short documentary The Myth (2003), which is about Nick Cave and his fans. He also has directed TV documentaries that are focused on music. Since the mid-90's he has been active as a DJ with The Fakes collective. He is the author of two novels: "23" and "Fleischerei 36" which is about what he experienced living in Berlin.
