Bara Jichova Tyson is a Czech-American artist and filmmaker. Her first feature documentary she directed and produced was Talking About Adultery (2019 Sheffield Doc/Fest - New Talent Award nomination, Ji.hlava, DOC NYC) Previously she directed a short documentary The Hatch House (2016 Architecture and Design Film Festival NYC) Bara co-wrote the feature documentary Organ Player directed by Narcissister (2018 Sundance Film Festival). She edited the feature documentary film, Instructions on Parting directed by Amy Jenkins (2018 MoMA Doc Fortnight). In 2009 she edited Michael Almereyda's feature film Paradise (Gotham Award nomination). Her artwork is represented by gallery Municipal Bonds. In 2007 she received BFA at MassArt in Boston, USA. She is a recipient of The MacDowell Fellowship.
