Bahar Shoghi is a video journalist. She worked for French News Agency and CNN in Tehran. She is the first female video journalist working for a foreign media in Iran. A French language and literature graduate, she continued her eduction in the field of Television production in Birmingham school of media in united kingdom. Her debut short film, A monologue for freedom, was officially selected and screened in Dresden International short film festival. Her second short was screened in London Iranian film Festival 2011. Her sensitivity towards social issues lead her to co-found and direct an interactive documentary, I am undocumented, covering the lives of Afghan children without legal identification documents living in marginalised neighbourhood in Tehran. She is now based in France.
