Grew up in Broumov. He graduated from SPŠST Panská in Prague in the field of film and television production. Currently is studying for a Master's degree in Directing and Screenwriting at Tomas Bata University in Zlín. He also completed a half-year Erasmus study program in Hungary at the SZFE Film and Theater School. During his studies, he directed a number of festival-awarded films:
