Filmmaker with more than ten documentaries to his credit. In 2007, he earned a degree in Journalism from the Belarusian State University, and two years later graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts. His works have received numerous international awards, including the IDFA Award for Best Medium-Length Documentary for Summa (2018) and the Silver Hobby-Horse for Best Documentary in the National Competition at the Krakow Film Festival (2019). When Flowers Are Not Silent (2021) won the Best Feature Documentary Award at the Warsaw Film Festival. In 2021, Andrei was forced to leave Belarus, and since then, he has been living and working in Poland.
