Born 1991, graduated in Culture Studies at the University of Warsaw. The last four years he spent working in internet journalism focusing mostly on cinema. He made many interviews, wrote tons of articles and hundreds of reviews. He also hosted meetings with directors during Afrykamera Film Festival and Polish Film Awards Orly. Jan works now as a freelance director, DoP, editor in the Media Industry and made videos for Kino Polska, Polish National Television (TVP) and TVP History. He has his own YouTube channel – Swiatloczuly Jan – where he presents reviews of upcoming movies. The Tragic Ones are Jan’s debut as the director on a documentary film, so we can’t attach his previous work. But, hopefully, the teaser for this movie will speak for itself.
