Olga Srstková (1991) is a documentary director and a graduate of the bachelor’s program in Documentary Filmmaking at FAMU in Prague, as well as the master’s program in Social and Cultural Anthropology at Charles University’s Faculty of Humanities. For her author’s reportage “Metrosen” (2022) she received the Aramis Award at the FAMUFEST festival in 2023. In the same year, the Jihlava festival also presented her portrait of former squatter and painter Martin Jech. She likes to explore themes of mental health and the indomitable strength of her protagonists in her films.
