Emi Buchwald was born in 1991 in Dąbrowice. She studies directing in The Leon Schiller National Higher School of Film, Television and Theatre in Łódź. Before started Film School, she had finished documentary course at Andrzej Wajda's Film School. At that school, she made her first short documentry - „Brothers”. Her shorts have been screened in Poland and abroad. She creates a photographic blog, zwyklaki.tumblr.com.
