Zoya Volk was born in Odessa. Zoya is a filmmaker, multimedia artist and a graduate of the Stuttgart Media University in the field of audiovisual media Germany (2020). Before that she completed a Master's degree in journalism at NAU (Ukraine) and worked as a journalist for K9 magazine. She was a co-producer for programming for "Dead poets society" (DSP) and a director of plays at the "Splash" theater. In 2012 she staged part of the main show at EXPO 2012 in South Korea. After moving to Germany in 2013, she began working on film and media projects. Zoya co-wrote and directed the film "Agnosia".
She also worked with Citizen.KANE.Kollektiv in Stuttgart and Imitating The Dog in London to shoot film material for them that became part of their theatrical performances.
