Dezső ZsigmondBorn in 1956 in Gyöngyös, Hungary. He directed numerous documentaries and full-length feature films since 1984. His acknowledgements include Balázs Béla Award and the Award for Hungarian Art. Alongside Best Director and Best Screenplay prizes of the Hungarian Film Week, his full-length feature films were recognized at Mannheim IFF and Festroia in Portugal. International festival awards for his documentaries comprise 2006 Jihlava Festival's First Prize for Best Central European Documentary Film for Snail Fortress.
