Nikki is the Coordinating Producer for POV where she helps manage all film submissions; is responsible for collecting deliverables & creating media assets; produces filmmaker interviews; and assists in curating the series. She's served as a judge for the News and Documentary Emmys, and has sat on pitch panels and represented POV at the Sheffield Doc/Fest, Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, Nordisk Panorama, Dok Leipzig and more. Prior to joining the staff in early 2014, Nikki was the documentarian for The Odyssey Initiative, and she worked as a mentor and teacher at the Apollo Outreach Initiative in Ohio. Nikki has worked on set for feature films and shorts, and has garnered award recognition for her own films. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Cinema Studies from Oberlin College.
