Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts from Complutense University of Madrid, 2002. Further academic studies in Filmmaking from Université Vicennes-Sant Denis (Paris VIII) and in Executive Production at the International School of Film and Television at San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. After returning to Spain he combined jobs in the film business as a critic, teacher as well as director, scriptwriter and producer. From 2003 until 2004 he worked as a script reader for international projects for ALTA FILMS (production company). In 2004, in accordance with his passion for the documentary genre, he was recruited by LA ZONA FILMS to work in the documentary projects department as a scriptwriter and Executive Producer. In 2006, he received the Audience Award in DOCUMENTA MADRID ‘06 Festival for his documentary short film El viento bajo el agua. In 2008, he and Executive Producer, Javier Lara, decided to create their own documentary production company, Artika Films.
