Veronika Glasuonwa was born 1981 in Leningrad, Russia. She emigrated to Germany in 1993. Studied slavic philology in Köln. Between 2005 and 2010 studied at the State University of St. Petersburg for theatrical art "documentary directing". Directed numerous theatre pieces and short films like Under observation or Eine Berliner Kommunalwohnung.
