Czech film director Zuzana Dubová was born in 1983 and studied film direction and screenplay at Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Czech Republic. The first short film The porter was screened in czech TV in terms of the Night of young film makers. The debut and middle length movie called 3 days obtained the prize of jury in Short Movie Festival in Potenza, Italy and others (Honorable Mention and Special student jury prize in The Brno Sixteen film festival and the Price of UPP in International Student Film Festival in Písek). From 2006 till 2007 she studied the film school „Escuela de Cine en Barcelona“ where she filmed the short movie Anna and collaborated on many short films. She returned to Barcelona for second time in 2008 and worked as an assistant director in the production and film company Making off. She directed the documentary for the foundation S.O.S. Tucumán which provided financial amounts for the education of kids in Tucumán in Argentina. In 2011 she filmed a social-environmental documentary called Tomato on the road which obtained the prize in Ekotopfilm 2011 in Bratislava, Slovakia. In the same year she started a film program for small deaf kids whose talent was shown in the short movie called Doves. Now she is involved in a film project and prepares children from Moravia for filming the movies. In the rest of time she works as a film director in czech tv.
