Graegin Zakoyan is a film Director, also film critic. Graegin Zakoyan is the Founder of Armenian National Film Depository (1991). He is the Script writer and Director of documentary films: “Theatrical Square”: “Letters from the Zone”; “Kajaran”; “Patarague – Armenian Lethargy”; “Hamo Beknazarov – Monologue”; etc.
He is also the author of a number of books on the theory and history of cinema : “Armenian Silent Movie”, “Language of Cinema”, etc. He is also the editor and publisher of the books: “Sergey Parajanoff – Letters from the Zone”; “Charles Aznaur in Movie”; “Jan Luke Godard”(Arm); “François Truffaut”(Arm).
Cinematographer’s Confederation of CIS; Member of SACD (Association of Authors, Composers and Dramatists of France).
