Arko Okk has worked on many films that have been internationally recognized - for example, the fiction film, Revolution of Pigs by Estonian directors Jaak Kilmi and Rene Reinumägi, was awarded at the Moscow IFF; the documentary Spring by Lithuanian director Valdas Navasaitis received the main prize of the Oberhausen International Short Film Festival. Together with Laila Pakalniņa Arko Okk has made the documentaries It’ll be Fine and The Bus, as well as the fiction drama The Hostage. For the latter, Arko Okk received an award for Best Cinematographer at the Kinoshok IFF (Russia). The latest documentary by Arko Okk: The Man Who Lived in Three-dimensional Time (2011), premiered at the Jihlava IFF in the 3 Docs programme together with Wim Wenders’ Pina and Werner
Herzog’s Cave of Forgotten Dreams.
