A theatre director, documentary film-maker, studied Directing in the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Warsaw. The director of Hunger by Knut Hamsun in the Ateneum Theatre in Warsaw. In Powszechny Theatre, he directed the monodrama Balloon Revolution by Julia Holewińska. The play was performed at many important festivals in Poland, such as the Warsaw Theatre Meetings. Moreover, it was included in the program of Teatr Polska, a project by Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute in Warsaw. Sławomir Batyra collaborated with Juliusz Osterwa Theatre in Gorzów Wielkopolski where he staged the play Babcia, written by Michał Walczak, as well as the monodrama O łuskaniu fasoli, based on Wiesław Myśliwski's writing.
