Úna Ní Dhonghaíle studied Directing and Cinematography for four years in Dublin before specialising in Film Editing at the prestigious National Film & Television School in Beaconsfield, UK. Three of Úna’s graduation films premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, two of which were in official competition and one, ‘Second-hand’ won the First Prize in the Cinéfondation Section. Úna has worked on many award winning feature length documentaries and TV drama series. Most recently, Úna was nominated for a BAFTA in Film Editing for ‘White Girl’, a BBC drama that won the BAFTA for Best TV Drama in 2009.
