Ambrus is from Budapest, Hungary. He obtained his MA diploma in Film Studies and then worked for several years as Camera Assistant. He made documentary shorts for independent productions, online journals and NGOs and finished a Documentary Studies program at The New School in NYC. His diploma short was screened at DOCNYC. His main interest is to tell personal stories of people whose modes of self-expression are absorbed in a genuine atmosphere.
