After moving from Almaty to the Prague, Yekaterina became involved in the production of
numerous student films, which led her to complete a one-year intensive production course
at FAMU International. She was later accepted into the Bachelor’s program at FAMU’s Department of Production.
Prior to pursuing a career in film, she participated in international relations programs, including FLEX and its alumni initiatives. Through her work with American Councils, she developed strong project management and communication skills and gained experience working on socially oriented projects in multicultural teams.
She remains actively engaged in filmmaking and is focused on producing films and exploring festival distribution, with the aim of connecting emerging artists’ stories to wider and audiences.
